Who Do We Think We Are?

Visible Ensemble’s debut production at Southwark Playhouse’s The Little — an early professional credit and a distinctive one. Visible is Britain’s only professional theatre company made entirely of performers in their 60s, 70s, and 80s, and Who Do We Think We Are? is built from their stories: Warsaw Ghetto, Nagasaki, Woodstock, a century of lives compressed into an evening.
Sonja Linden’s writing is fast-paced, funny, and poignant; Sally Davies’s live music runs through it. The projection design works with Agnes Treplin’s set to build a kaleidoscope of personal history — images that hold individual memory while speaking to something collective.
